Following Professor Alasdair Geddes’ retirement after 10 years in the post, Professor Jean-Marc Rolain (Aix Marseille Université and Hôpital de la Timone, Marseille, France) has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents (IJAA).

Honorary Membership is awarded to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to chemotherapy. Meritorious Membership is awarded to individual who have extraordinarily contributed to and supported the aims of the ISC. The 2015 awards were presented during the 29th ICC in San Diego.

The ISC are delighted to announce the new Executive Committee Members who were elected during the 29th International Congress of Chemotherapy and who will serve for the next four years. The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2015
The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2015 has been awarded jointly to Satoshi Ōmura, William C. Campbell and Youyou Tu for thier discoveries concerning novel therapy against roundworm parasites and Malaria.
