Wei Zhao is a Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology, currently working as the Director of Institute of Clinical Pharmacology, Deputy Dean of the Institute of Regulatory Science for Medical Products, Chair of Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Director of the Clinical Trial Center at Shandong University, China.
Prof Zhao leads a research group focused on clinical trials and personalized therapy in special populations. He has served as the principal investigator in over 100 phase I/II trials and authored/co-authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications. He also works as a regulator scientist in various agencies (EMA, ANSM and CDE NMPA).
