Dear ISAC colleagues
There are only two days left to apply for an ISAC Society Grant.
Following a global survey on the functioning of societies in the area of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, ISAC concluded there is a clear wish for societies to be better equipped to make a bigger impact than they do currently. In response, ISAC is launching grants to support and strengthen societies in this field.
Applications are required to demonstrate that ISAC funds will be utilised for a clearly defined activity that will enhance the operations and the impact of their society. The activity needs to have an identifiable outcome on completion of the work.
Applications of up to 6,000 Euros invited
There are two categories of grants available - the first of which is only available to current ISAC Member Societies. However, category two is available to all colleagues interested in establishing a society in their country where there is a need for one.
1. To strengthen an Existing ISAC Member Society
Society strengthening projects may address any topic that a society Board considers to be a priority to boost their activities and impact.

Funding may be applied for to enable creation of a new society in a country that currently does not have a professional society.
