Dear ISAC colleagues

The ISAC Rapid Diagnostics and Biomarkers Working Group invites clinicians, microbiologists and antimicrobial stewardship teams to participate in a global survey on the use of rapid diagnostic tests for infectious diseases.

The Working Group conducted a similar survey prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and is now seeking to understand how the point-of-care testing (POCT) landscape has changed.

As rapid diagnostic technologies increasingly influence clinical decision-making and antimicrobial stewardship, the survey aims to explore their current availability, implementation, barriers and impact across different healthcare settings worldwide.

Your experience and insights will help inform future guidance, support tools and priorities for improving the effective use of rapid diagnostics.

Complete the survey by 27 September 2026:
Take part in the ISAC global survey

Please feel free to share the survey with relevant colleagues and networks. Thank you for contributing to this important global initiative.

Kind regards

Prof. Kordo Saeed
Chair of ISAC's Rapid Diagnostics and Biomarkers Working Group
