Applications are now open for the ISAC Society Strengthening Grants 2026.
Following a global survey exploring how professional societies function in Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, ISAC identified a clear need to help societies strengthen their activities and increase their impact.
Two categories of grants are available:
1. Strengthening an existing ISAC Member Society
Funding is available to support clearly defined activities that will strengthen the operations, activities or impact of an existing ISAC Member Society. Projects may address any area that the Society Board considers a priority and should have an identifiable outcome on completion.
2. Establishing a new society
Funding is also available to support the formation of a new professional society in a country that does not currently have one.
Applicants should demonstrate clearly how ISAC funding will be used and the anticipated impact of the proposed activity.
