We are delighted to announce Professor Chantal Reusken (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment [RIVM], Erasmus MC) as a speaker for ISAC's upcoming COVID-19 Variants webinar on 12 April 2021.
Prof. Reusken will present on:
Molecular epidemiology of SARS-CoV-2. Experience from the Dutch National Institute of Public Health and Environment.
Prof. Reusken currently works as senior scientist in the Viroscience department of Erasmus MC. Her public health and research activities at the RIVM and EMC focus on viral zoonoses, in particular rodent-borne and arboviruses. Her research at Viroscience department mainly involves activities/research focusing on emerging disease preparedness and response and as such she works at the research-diagnostics interphase. Earlier she worked in the field of Virology at the LUMC, CVI, Leiden University and SUNY Stony Brook on plant viruses, HCV, poliovirus and CSFV.
