In accordance with the ISAC constitution, elected members of the Executive Committee nominate and select new Directors from within the committee.

Meritorious Membership
To express our thanks to Prof. Andreas Voss (Immediate Past President), Prof. Serhat Unal (Secretary General) and Prof. Stefania Stefani (JGAR Editor in Chief) who leave the Board, they were awarded Meritorious Membership at the 33rd ICC. Meritorious Membership is conferred upon persons who have delivered outstanding service to the International Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ISAC).

Executive Committee election results
This year, we received many nominations and seven shortlisted candidates were all of an exceedingly high calibre. The final votes were very close and we are pleased to introduce the three new members of the Executive Committee who will play an important role in shaping the future of ISAC.
