Dear ISAC Colleagues
Are you looking for a new challenge for 2021?
Are you working in the field of antimicrobial resistance / chemotherapy?
ISAC is looking for members to join and develop its new Early Career Working Group.
There has never been a more critical time for the next generation of professionals working in the field of antimicrobial chemotherapy to keep up with novel techniques and ensure a timely response to current global health threats.
This Working Group aims to serve as a platform for communicating with senior researchers and provide young researchers opportunities to build long-lasting networks. The group will also have the opportunity to contribute to the ISAC Academy when it launches later this year and to the International Congress of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ICC), ISAC's biennial congress. The group will also develop its own remit of activities and aim to publish in ISAC's two journals, the International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents and Journal of Global Antimicrobial Resistance.
The group is Chaired by Jinxin Zhao, one of ISAC’s Young Investigator Awardees. Jinxin is a PhD candidate at the Laboratory of Antimicrobial Systems Pharmacology, Monash University, Australia and is keen to develop a global membership base.
If you are a Early Career Professional under the age of 35 or have been awarded a PhD degree within the last five years in antimicrobials or a related field, email secretariat@ISAC.world to join today.
Find out more details on the website.
We hope you will consider this exciting opportunity and would be grateful if you could please share details with your colleagues.
With kind regards
Fee Johnstone ISAC Executive Assistant On behalf of Matthew Dryden, ISAC Working Group Officer |
