How to Join

ISAC Working Groups are open to new members with a strong interest and relevant experience in the given field. To join an ISAC Working Group, please contact Fee Johnstone, ISAC Executive Officer with your name and a brief C.V. We welcome new members!

Aims and Objectives

The primary objectives of the Working Group will be (but will not be limited to):

  • Clinical Studies
  • Education and discussion on fungal infection issues
  • Epidemiology
  • Diagnosis
  • Host defence
  • Treatment
  • Research in all fungal diseases

The secondary objectives will be:

  • Raising funds to educate scientists and clinicians
  • Collecting data on research aspects of fungal diseases

Future / Ongoing Activities


A project in relation to antifungal combination therapy of rare mould infections in immunocompromised patients.

The new leadership only took effect in October 2019 and a new plan of activities is being developed.
