Prof. Pierre Tattevin is a 55-year-old infectious diseases physician, head of the Infectious Diseases and Intensive Care Unit Department at Rennes University Hospital (Western France). He was trained in Paris (fellowship), Rennes (PhD), and San Francisco (post-doc). He is the coordinator of Lyme disease and TB guidelines update in France, the vice-president of the French Society of Infectious Diseases (SPILF), and chair the Alliance for the Prudent Use of Antibiotics (APUA). He authored or co-authored >600 papers indexed in Pubmed, mostly as a first or last author. His H-index is 56.
