Antimicrobial Stewardship and Transplantation Survey
On behalf of Lillian Abbo and Susan Seo, ISC Antimicrobial Stewardship Working Group Members, we invite you to participate in a short survey to determine the extent to which Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs (ASP’s) exist, are being planned, how they are structured and which activities are performed in solid organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplant centers.
The goal of an ASP is to optimize antimicrobial prescribing for hospitalized adults and children in order to achieve the best and safest clinical outcomes. Comprehensive ASPs may employ various strategies to enhance antimicrobial prescribing, such as formulary restriction, clinical guidelines, antibiotic order forms, and prospective audit and feedback. Many hospitals may utilize one or more core ASP strategies without actually having a formalized ASP.
The findings from this IRB-approved exempt research study will be disseminated through professional publications and presentations. Your answers are completely voluntary and anonymous. Hospital name is being collected only to identify duplicates and will be de-identified for analysis.
TAKE SURVEY HERE
Deadline is 31st July 2015. It should take you less than 10 minutes to complete the survey.
Thank you for your participation
