Spam emails

A number of people have received fraudulent E mails which appear to be sent from ISAC President, Geoff Coombs. We confirm that these emails are NOT from ISAC or Geoff.

If you have received a fraudulent E mail from boardpresident780@gmail.com, please follow the standard advice below:

• Do not click on any links in the scam E mail.
• Do not reply to the E mail or contact the senders in any way.
• If you have clicked on a link in the E mail, do not supply any information on the website that may open.
• Block the sender.

The messages received appear to be no more than a sophisticated phishing scam and there has been no malicious software attached. However, please refer to the advice above for any suspicious E mails.

Please note that ISAC will never request funding from its colleagues. Nor does ISAC share contact details of any colleagues on its website or otherwise.
