Travel Grants to attend ICC

Young Investigator Travel Awards

The two highest scoring abstracts submitted via the ISAC Young Investigator Travel Award application process from countries with limited resources will be awarded the Tom Bergan Memorial Award and the John David Williams Memorial Award in memory of two former Presidents of ISAC.

ISAC Eastern Europe Travel Awards

Colleagues are invited to apply for ISAC Eastern European ICC Grants to attend the 33rd International Congress of Chemotherapy (ICC) in Istanbul, Turkey, 3 – 6 November 2024.

Applicants from relevant ISAC Member Societies will be given priority.

Applicants who submit an abstract will be given priority.

Eligibility

• Only applications from colleagues residing in an Eastern European country will be considered.
• Applicants must be actively working in the field of Infectious Diseases, Clinical Microbiology / Virology or antimicrobial agents.
• Applicants at all stages of their careers are invited to apply and there are no age restrictions.

Award

Successful awardees will receive the following:

• Congress registration paid by ISAC.
• The sum of 600 Euros towards the cost of travel and accommodation.
• The 600 Euro sum will be paid to the successful applicants’ bank accounts after the congress has taken place.

Nomination procedure

• To apply, please provide the following:
• A letter of application (maximum one page).
• A copy of your abstract(s) and abstract number(s), if applicable.
• A short CV (maximum one page).
• Please indicate that you are applying for an ISAC Eastern Europe ICC Grant.
• Please indicate if you are a member of an ISAC Eastern European Member Society.
• The above should be sent electronically to the ISAC Secretariat (secretariat@ISAC.world).

The deadline to submit is 26 July 2024.
