On demand - 33rd ICC
We are pleased to start sharing some of the presentations from the 33rd International Congress of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ICC) held in Istanbul, in November 2024.
Prof. Gunnar Kahlmeter (EUCAST Technical Data coordinator, Head of the EUCAST Development Laboratory) presented the opening plenary lecture on "The quirks of the EUCAST susceptibility testing system".
Prof. Kahlmeter was presented with the Hamao Umezawa Memorial Award (HUMA) award, the highest award given by ISAC for outstanding contributions in the field of antimicrobial chemotherapy. It is generously sponsored by the Microbial Chemistry Research Foundation of Japan.
